Wonder who gets it this time! Be nice if all kenties got together and put in a bid. Imagine the reunions that would take place if that ever happened lol.....

You could have got it for a mere 298200 Euros back in November 2006 at auction.

Kent School appears to still be on the market. Should we buy it and set up a cold war Families theme park?

I think we should all club together, buy it and turn it into a massive "haunted house", where guests could stay (those brave enough), and have the you know what frightened out of them !!! I'm sure there'd be loads of people willing enough to stay there, I know I would. I hope that nothing happens to the "old girl", as that place HAS brought many memories, some good, some bad and some indifferent, to a GREAT many people, throughout its history.

Surely you mean ...... 'to many GREAT people' and not 'to a GREAT many people'? And I never know whether it is 'too' or 'to' as I must have missed that English lesson that day - probably due to a Myers Rum infection (very dangerous in 1976 as it only cost DM4 from the Little NAAFI near Deal House - but I did learn that it doesn't go through a coffee perculator very well, which I suppose was an important thing to learn, I mean nowadays you don't need English as we have TXT/SMS and Spullchuckers! - Happy Days)
