Has anyone got any latest news on the school, is it going to be a hotel and if so anyone got any details?

Hi there - I was at Kent School Hostert a couple of months ago ( I live about 1 hour drive from school in Essen NRW) and nothing has changed since the Hotel idea. There is scaffolding attatched to the old Scianceblock,(But noone working at it)other than that the only movement on this property, were two caretakes who were fighting against the grass that was growing through the cracks in the pavements. thanks (danke) stephanie . I too have fond memories.. i visit the school a few years back and it was a sorry state. Thankheavens for memories heh. Lucky you to be living out there.. we hope to do a visit real soon and possibly for the christmas market, and to hopefully return to the school to show my youngest where his mum had spent many happy days.
