I livd in Erkelenz 81-83, in the flats overlooking the play area and went to Kent from Year 1 to Year 3.

I didn't live at Erkelenz but did travel on bus GK3 from Geilenkirchen picking up at Erkelenz from 1978 -81. I don't remember any names except somebody Reeves who's dad worked with mine at the Met.Office at Wildenrath.

yeah lived there 82 for about 6 months lived 86/3 i think did the 'paper round' delivering the papers up and down all the stairs, was a lot thinner and fitter then

Yup - that's me! I was there in 1974-6 and bussed it into Kent on those lovely military tin buses. Was in year 4-6 when I was in Erklenz ...

wow. nearly forgot i lived there. I remember the old crowd that used to hang by the telephone box. James/Lynne Moody, Tini Fagen, THE BOTTS. Cleary, The larfs we had playin Dungeons an Dragons in the block basement bar, then off to the cenetry at the back of the flats. Balcony hopping to nic the beers that our dads stored there. Too Many memories.. Then moved to Wilders aftr a year or so. stayed there for 4yrs.

Hi there, I lived in Erkelenz between 1986-89 then moved to Bruggen. I have some fond memories from then, camping for the weekend on the grass, carnival in Erkelenz Town and memories some people would be happy to forget, I'm sure. My sister is married to Pedro Kenney (youth leader of sorts) and I am in contact with Scott Kenney on FB as he lives in Taiwan.
