Greetings from Dortmund. Dropped an email to Jim Gray & Mo Robertson. I am still following Wolves FC and trying to fit into two-tone tonics. Had a career in green, still refuse to grow up. A few stars I will never forget: Mandy & Di Nuttall, Casey, Tony Austin, Terry Speakman, Mike Cummings, Paddy Morrow, Dave Legg, Mal Vaughn, Jacko, Bob Sherell & Mr Lackinson (teachers). Deal House, smokers corner, JHQ & Wildenrath Youth Clubs, time of my life in many ways. Did a 2 year tour of JHQ 1990, pants. Still visit the old haunts on the bike bi-annually. Happy days.

To Michael. You said that many of your friends from Kent had "gone" which disturbed me a bit, so I thought I'd investigate. This is only based upon averages mind you, but the official UK statistics say that for anyone who was born in 1961, i.e is now 51, there should still be about 92% alive. More women than men of course. Not only that but 11% are predicted to live to 100! Hopefully, you'll be able to find plenty more of your friends out there.

Every now and then I look up this site, I know that many of the people I used to know are gone but I always smile and have a little laugh at the good old days. 51 this year but it only seems like a few short years ago that we used to hide behind the barns and gym puffing away on our cigg`s. It was a great time and I will always have fond memories of Kent School, I was actually born there in on the front steps (according to my mum) in 1961. Oh well take care and always have fond memories of the old times when we were just kids. P.S does anyone remember the caretaker with the club foot (Leo) jeeze would make a bloody great movie. Hey did`nt JK Rolling go there. Mike

What a find this site is! Seeing familiar names from way back is good for the soul. The Americans were great and we all missed them when their own all American school was built. I lived at Bruggen and have only the fondest memories of both Bruggen and Kent. Johnny Robertson was the lust of every girl at school, he was in the year above me. (he once sang 'If I were a carpenter and you were a lady' to me in his cellar whilst playing the guitar, I was in heaven)! Sue Larkins, Nancy Jolley, Rebecca Weldridge, Sharon Whitla,John Bottomley, Forrest Curtis, Rory, Terry & Bill McDermott, Dot Gledhill, Francy and Rosemary Murray, Annette someone lived near them, or was possibly another sister, all from Bruggen. The Malcolm club was never out of bounds to me...providing I took my little brother (bummer). My mum worked at the PSI shop on the camp. The names of many teachers escape me, but Mr Cork for maths was legend. I was possibly his worst student, but will forever remember 'an adj stop angle on a st stop line' and his 3 lined headings. Miss Pole will stay in my memory for not the best of reasons. Miss Penney for DS and typing. Mr Redman for art. Mr Myhill and his daughter Saffron. The new head had a daughter in my class called Rhiannon or something similar. My best friend was Marion McCall. I've been to a few schools (as most of us have) and Kent was by far the best and I have such fond memories. There are too many names to mention from school, but when I see the name here I remember them as if it were yesterday.
