Andrea - my parents are still in contact with Richard Hardings mum. I saw some pictures of Richard she brought to my parents house about a year ago, he hadn't changed a bit. I knew Richard and the rest of the Hardings really well as we used to go camping with them.

HI Andrea, Lynn Cooke was Dave Cookes sister, lived in the reserved-for-WO houses(I never figured out RAF ranks as Dad was 21 Sigs) and was on bus K6 to Kent.I left Wildenrath, kicking and screaming, to Soest in 77 but used to hang around with the Watts brothers and Dave Cooke , Glynn Heath, Mike Mills and a few others.

I remember a few names Amanda Shepherd, Lynn Cooke, Debbie Kemp, Richard Harding, Mr Black who was a science teacher. I also remember a school trip to Paris and another trip to Holland, we stayed on a barge. My mum was a really strict bus monitor, she's mellowed with age though. We lived at Wildenrath. I remember a ??? school play called The Thwarting of Baron Bolligrew. The tuck shop selling Smilies. Ring any bells anyone?

Yes, my uncle was the drummer for the Sweet, sadly died (leukaemia) February 2002.I also remember Michael and Stephen Coulson, John Tomney and Penny Andrews.Julian Hingley appears to be the headmaster of an English school in Bucharest:I say appears,if you knew him, check out their website (google english school bucharest), the photo certainly looks like him.If you're trying to track down old mates,there are quite a few ex pads brats on ARRSE.PERSEC rules, so you will only know who they are if they want you to. was at this great school for only 6 months before going on to windsor boys at hamm. lived at the flats in Erkelenz and used bus no gk3 everyday, my dad was at raf Wildenrath before moving to Laarbruch. great memories of the school though after all this time. now 46 im currently living in Norwich where i have been for over 20 years now. would be great to hear from anyone who remembers me from that short time back in the mid seventies.

My memory's getting worse by the day and I can't put faces to names from my era that are on the notice board. I'm in touch with the youthful and good looking John Captain but nobody else. I'd be very interested to hear from people from my time. I'm usually remembered for my bad big brothers Terry and Alan.We lived in Bruggen then Rheindahlen. My brother Terry was very friendly with Tony Cooper who got in touch with him a couple of years back. I'd like to know what became of Sam (Sylvia Antoinette Mallet if I remember correctly), Despina Stylianakis, and others from my time. Anyone coming to the WAles reunion it's not far from here so good chance to look each other up!

Alan I can remember a few names from the photo you posted. Last row far left is Mike Jones. (Brother) Dead center last row is Kevin Jones (me) Far right last row is (?) Taylor. Taylor's sister sometimes posts to the site. I recognise a girl in the center of the middle row, her name is Johnson, I will post with more details as the memories return.

Just stumbled over this web site, retired from police force two days ago, just trying to find out what normal people do at this time of night. Was in 1/2/3 RR with Mr Ruston in the black box, suffered 3 years of the purgotary coach run all the way from dusseldorf every day. Anybody else out there from those forms?

recently found this site, why did nobody tell me about it? lived in grobbendonk (yeah real name) in belgium attended kent and deal for approx 2 yrs, had a great time there pity my edumucation suffered no qualifications just good memories. friends i remember are les turner, mark crosland, william venus, kenny athlete, brian newlands( met up with him in in army) mark hanlon, bob fordyce, andy or alex mchoney, andy dunlop, mick north, karen cheetham, debbie rodgers, davina forman, donella brett,karen weller also my brother paul and sister michele where there, sadly paul passed away 8 years ago but he had a good time there aswell, who did'nt? Anyway i'm old and bald and still living life to the full, would like details of next reunion, cheers
