Wow, just looked at the photos - my youngest sister was born when Kent School was a hospital in 1960. Still not found many pals - keep looking. Lived at Birgelen (13 Sig Reg), Keltenstrasse. Remember the Reed brothers, Steve and Raymond, Susan Mills (Bee Gees fan), Lorraine, Susan, Jeremy ... crikes will dig out my autograph book and check out some names. It must be an age thing, can't remember names but can picture faces.

I lived at RAF Bruggen with my parents (Dad was the Flight Sergeant PTI)and 2 younger sisters. My best mate was Nancy Jolley who had an older brother, Steve. We knocked around with Jacqui Barton and frequented the Malcolm Club on camp ... playing (with monotonous regularity) 'My Girl' by Otis Redding and sit with the younger airmen (my Dad would have gone ape if he knew that!) When I took my oral English CSE I remember the small room they used with the walls covered in egg cartons to muffle the sound of any conversation. We had to speak for 3 minutes about anything we chose. Thats a long time!...

Just found this site via Ruth Hunter on Friends Reunited. Seems to be a shortage of people from my year? We lived at Geilenkirchen until 1981 and then moved to JHQ. My father was in the Met Office at Wildenrath and Rheindahlen.
If you look on Google Earth there are some pics of Kent School looking dilapidated. I dont know if they are more recent than any on this site?
I remember Carl Reynaud and Simon Feneley from my year and also a Theresa? and Vicki.

I started as a medway boarder then went to deal after my dad was posted to SHAPE. I kicked around with Norman Mcoul, Lyndon Black, Paul Crispin, Rich Barber. I left kent joined the RAF kept in touch with Lyndon and Paul Crispin. I met up with Norman a few times when I was wiltshire way with work. I now work as a Paramedic for the Ambo Service, after finishing the RAF last year. I remember Karen Everett, Tracy Payne, Clare Valentine, and too many other guys and girls from Chatham and Deal. I bumped into you Gerry Conlon at Lyneham when you'd returned from somewhere I also remember the guys you mentioned, do you also remember Brian(red headed guy)
Been and seen Kent recently ah the memories came flooding back.

Hey, Jez. I remember someone called Jez but not sure what you looked like. I knew Linda Day and Tracy Payne. The Ian that I knew went by the surname of Cuthbert and went to Deal house he had blonde hair and went round with a guy called Nick Harding. I also remember David West. We went to the south of France on a school trip from which I still have photos. I also have photos of Ian and Tracy. It's such a shame about the school. so many happy memories though.

Hellooooo Fiona,
nice to hear from you. We have been out here for 4 Years now and wouldn't even consider coming back.
We love it...got a 3 bed villa with a pool and live a lovely quality life.
I have lost one of my oldest phone books with all the contact numbers in of Dawn and Chris, Carol Highmore etc.
Have you still got Dawns telephone number?
I don't get back very often, usually at Christmas to see my 85 year old Dad and 84 year old Mother in Law...2 weeks in UK weather is enough.
Glad to hear youve just got hitched..congrats...Phils name rings a bell but can't put a face to the name.
Have become a Nana now...shock horror, but it's cool.
Isn't this site brilliant....It's so uplifting to hear from all these people after all this time.
Give Carol Highmore my love, and please look up Dawn for me.
Reply soon.
Lots of love.
Christine
